About Pured Agro

In the small town of Esigodini, Matabeleland South, a group of high school students at Mzingwane High School witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of limited cold storage facilities on local farmers. The rampant spoilage of fresh tomatoes was not only a significant economic loss but also a contributor to food waste. Driven by a desire to reduce post-harvest losses, these enterprising students conceptualized Pured Agro Processors in 2021.

To be a leading producer of organic dried food products that ensure year-round access to nutritious and affordable seasonal produce, while empowering smallholder farmers through sustainable agriculture and reducing post-harvest food waste.
